After a chilly start to most mornings, afternoons Tuesday through Thursday will be quite pleasant as temperatures climb from the 60s into the 70s by Thursday. A few high clouds will be possible on Tuesday and Wednesday with perhaps a few more clouds on Thursday mainly across East Texas. Rain chances will be near zero before increasing quickly on Friday.
The next chances for rain arrive on Friday when a strong storm system arrives from the west. Thunderstorms will develop out ahead of a cold front and some may be strong on Friday. A few storms may linger early Saturday morning. Details are unclear, so check back for updates as they become available.
