A warm and breezy day is in store for North and Central Texas with south winds 15 to 20 mph with occasional higher gusts. It will be warmer with highs well into the 80s, with a few areas west of U.S. 281 approaching 90 degrees! A cold front will approach late in the day, but won’t cool the temperatures. Isolated, mainly light showers are expected across the northwest counties.
Thunderstorm chances will increase late Saturday evening across portions of North and Central Texas. Some isolated strong to severe storms will be possible with the best chance north and west of the DFW Metroplex.
