Partly cloudy skies will prevail across the region today with southerly winds around 10 mph. High temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 90s with heat indices near 100 degrees. A cold front will move through North Texas on Monday with cooler weather expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
The week will start out hot and humid, but a rare summer cold front will bring relatively milder temperatures and lower humidity to North and Central Texas by midweek. Late this week, temperatures and humidity levels will climb back up to typical late July values.
