Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across parts of North Texas today. Coverage will be around 20% for all locations. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be possible with the strongest storms.
A dying storm complex will arrive across the Red River Valley shortly after sunrise Sunday morning. No severe weather is expected, but low storm chances with gusty winds and occasional lightning strikes may occur with the outflow boundary expected into those across the Red River Valley.
Isolated storms, possibly strong with gusty winds, may re-developed on the old storm outflow boundary east of I-35 on Sunday Afternoon. Otherwise, temperatures will be hot with highs in the lower-mid 90s East, to between 97 and 101 degrees West.
