Icy travel is a possible concern for areas north and west of the DFW region again today. A winter weather advisory is in place for areas to the northwest of Dallas for freezing drizzle throughout the day.

Continued rain is expected through Saturday with dry weather finally returning by Sunday and Monday.

Most of the icy weather should stay to the west of Lamar, Hunt, Titus and Franklin counties. However, be on the lookout for high water and flash flooding. According to the Texas Department of Transportation as least 20 water rescues have been reported for the North Texas area.

Temperatures for Northeast Texas will remain above freezing over the next few days. For weather updates, forecast and radar for your area click here.
