A few afternoon and early evening storms are possible mainly north of the I-20/30 corridors, as outflow boundaries from morning activity in Oklahoma move into or across the Red River Valley. This will NOT be widespread or a wash-out for outdoor events across this area.
However, interests across our northern counties need to be weather aware for the potential of gusty downburst winds, lightning strikes, and possibly small hail with the strongest storms. Otherwise, highs will be in the lower-mid 90s with light south breezes around 10 mph.
Tomorrow’s highs will be in the 90s across the region, with mostly clear skies. Southerly winds will be in place, generally between 10-15 mph.
