A deceased man found floating in a body of water in Dallas, Texas, has been identified as the man reported missing from Delta County in late November.

Michael Lynn Hunt of Klondike, Texas, was reported missing November 28 by his wife who said he was last seen November 24. According to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Hunt was believed to be driving a 2005 Silver Mercury Montego and could have been making his way to Paris, Texas.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office was seeking help from the public to locate Hunt.

On December 4, shortly before 9 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to call regarding an unidentified deceased person floating in a creek near Irving Boulevard.  The Dallas Police Department released a sketch of the victim on December 12 in hopes of identifying the man that was found in the creek.

On December 17, the Dallas Police Department confirmed that the deceased male victim was 53-year-old Michael Hunt from Klondike, Texas.
