Shower and thunderstorm activity will continue moving east throughout the day.
Although we will get a cold front through the region today, the westerly winds will allow for temperatures to climb into the middle 80s in the southwest and middle 70s in the northeast.
By tonight, rain chances will be well east of the region, but a few lingering light showers will be possible. Additionally, fog may develop along a stationary front expected to be in our far eastern counties.
After some morning clouds and fog across eastern parts of North and Central Texas, partly cloudy, warm, and breezy conditions return Friday afternoon.
Highs will be in the 80s, with southeast winds 10-15 mph.
