A Flash Flood Watch continues for much of North Texas through 7 a.m. on Saturday morning.

North Texas has received two-five inches of rain during the past few days, and an additional one-two inches of rain will be possible today and tonight.

Additional heavy rainfall will act to aggravate any ongoing flooding, and with soils already saturated, new flooding will be possible. Do not drive where water of unknown depth covers the road, and stay away from creeks and streams as rapid rises may occur if additional heavy rain falls.

Storm chances will continue today as another system approaches the region. These storms will have a potential to produce heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
