At the December 11, 2018, City Council meeting, councilmembers voted to remove stop signs at the intersections of Sayle and Eastland Streets as well as Sayle and Shelby Streets.

These stop signs were removed December 26, 2018.

As a result of the stop signs on Sayle being removed, new “Stop Bars” have been applied on Eastland and Shelby pavements. As well, “Cross Traffic Does Not Stop” placards will be installed below the stop signs on Eastland and Shelby.
