Numbers are in the air as people scour to the convenience stores in hopes of being the next Powerball jackpot winner.
At its fourth highest value in history, the Powerball jackpot winnings are up to $750 million.
Many people have in Northeast Texas have said they are set to play the lottery, and some have a plan for their hypothetical winnings.
“To donate every dime to the wall,” Rob Gilbreath of the Paris area said in a social media comment. “Wait, no. Half has to go to Bigfoot research, so the other half I’ll use to build my own wall to keep the wolves at bay.”
Shari Garrett near the Greenville area has a heartfelt plan with her winnings.
“I’m going to open an animal sanctuary for all the unwanted, injured and abandoned pets in Royse City, Hunt County and surrounding areas,” she said in a comment on social media.
Chloe McGee near Mount Pleasant said she would buy a home, “a nice car and go to college.”
Though everyone has big plans for big earnings, the chances of winning the $750 million jackpot are 1 out of 292,201,338. However, the overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.87.
The $750 million jackpot has a cash value of $465.5 million.
