Doyle Gene Currin was born on September 4, 1930 in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Greenville, Texas and loved living his life in “his” town. To know Doyle was to love him. He cared for everyone he met and lived his life for others. The world was definitely a better place because of him. He was a loyal member of the Gideon’s and enjoyed his friendships and his ministry. He will be missed by his church family, his many, many friends, and his family.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Thelma Currin, his wife, Glenda Currin, and his son, Darren Currin.
He is survived in death by his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Currin, his daughter-in-law Amy Woody, his cousin, Nell Wesch and numerous extended family members.
Services will be held at Coker-Mathews Funeral home in Greenville Texas on Sunday, January 20 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Coker- Mathews. We invite you to come and celebrate a life well lived. We know Doyle is enjoying his celebration and reunions in his heavenly home!
