Hunt Regional Medical Center will have a large-scale disaster drill from 9 a.m.-noon on Wednesday.

“The drill will include a mock patient evacuation along with a surge of patients in the emergency department,” Chelbie Birdwell, marketing communications specialist, said.

The drill will affectHunt Regional Medical Center, Quinlan, Commerce, Medical Partners and Home Care.

Birdwell wants to ensure visitors understand the facilities will be participating in a drill, and no real disaster is taking place.
