Greenville Fire-Rescue recently made a big announcement about their department.
“It’s a girl,” officials exclaimed on social media.
That girl, they said, is a 41,500-pound, 34-foot-5-inch-long new fire engine.
“She came into service [Tuesday],” officials announced. “As is the tradition in fire departments across the country, she was welcomed into Station No. 1 with a push-in ceremony.”
