Investigator Kenneth Peters will be recognized as the “Officer of the Year” by the National Equipment Register in 2019.
The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was notified this week by the National Equipment Register that they have selected Investigator Kenneth Peters as “Officer of the Year” and will recognize his work in Anaheim, California, in 2019.
The National Equipment Register stated that each year they recognize one officer from across the country that has “performed exceptional service to the rental industry through the recovery of rental equipment or through theft prevention initiatives” and Investigator Peters has not only demonstrated these work ethics but has exceeded them in his job performance.
“I want to personally thank Investigator Peters for all his hard work and dedication to the citizens of Hunt County,” said HCS Randy Meeks. “The fact that he was selected from a pool of nominations from across the Country is a tremendous honor and we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber.”
