A man has been taken to the hospital after a crash landed him and his vehicle under a body of water in Greenville, Texas, today.
According to City of Greenville Public Information Officer Kathy Lucas, a call was received at approximately 5:17 p.m. regarding a major motor vehicle crash at Graham Park.
The Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department and American Medical Response responded to the scene.
The initial investigation indicates a Chevrolet passenger car was traveling West on Sockwell Boulevard when the vehicle left the roadway near the intersection of Sockwell and Sayle. The car continued traveling west across the grass on the east side of the park and went into the lake.
The vehicle was driven by an adult male, who was then transported to Hunt Regional Medical Center by AMR.
