Since 1920, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce has been rounding up regional businesses for a night of celebration, information, and lots of fun. Since 1996, the Chamber has been hosting this event in concert with the Greenville Board of Development (GBOD).

“This will be our 23rd year as a collective event,” said Bob Landon, owner of Landon Winery and the 2019 Chairman of the Board for the Chamber. Randy Tarpley, current Chairman of the Board for GBOD stated, “We are thrilled again to celebrate in partnership with the Chamber our rich history of honoring volunteers and business leaders for their tremendous contributions to Greenville, Texas.”

This year’s banquet theme is “Up, Up & Away, Taking Business to New Heights.” The hilarious hypnotist and entertainer, Dr. Jon Taylor, will be the featured program this year.

“We are going all out with humor,” said Byron Taylor, President & CEO of the Greenville Chamber. “Dr. Jon’s bio states that his comedy hypnosis is high energy, upscale, clean and professionally staged.”

It’s just a few weeks away and will take place at the business location of Presenting Partner, Innovation First International, on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, between 5:45-9 p.m. From 5:45-7 p.m. the event kicks off with hors d’ oeuvres, cocktails, and live music. The musical entertainment will be La Pompe Dallas with their peppy musical style billed as “a little bit of gypsy, a little bit of French, and a whole lotta Swing.”

In addition to a steak-catered dinner, the evening is also home to the prestigious 72nd annual Worthy Citizen Award, which started in 1947. Other awards given on this evening include Chamber Ambassador and Board Member of the Year and Community Investment Awards, among others.

Additional highlighted partners for the evening include Dinner Partner, Re/Max 3D Real Estate, Cocktail Partners Family First Home Health and L3 Aerospace Systems, while the dessert partner will be GEUS. Additional partnerships are still available. Table partners for table of eight are $650. Supporting partners with seating for four are $350.
