May the Fourth be with you || Star Wars cocktails that are out of this world


More than 40 years after the world first laid eyes on the “Star Wars” characters, we celebrate them on May 4. And, what better way to celebrate than with a themed cocktail? We’ve scoured the internet and found some of the tastiest treats available to help you celebrate today.

Jabba the Hutt

  • 12 oz horchata vodka
  • 2 oz Cold-brew coffee
  • 12 oz Half-and-half
  • 14 oz white crème de cacao liqueur
  • 12 oz Simple syrup
  • Garnish: Cinnamon sugar
  • Add all the ingredients into a shaker and dry shake (without ice) for five seconds.
  • Add ice, and shake again until well-chilled.
  • Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with 1 pinch of cinnamon sugar.

  • 1 1/2 oz black rum
  • 3/4 oz crème de cacao
  • 1 cup ice
  • Black food color
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar


  • Add black rum, crème de cacao, ice and 1 or 2 drops black food color to a martini shaker.
  • In a small bowl, add brown sugar and 1 drop black food color. Mix with a fork until all sugar is black. Wet the rim of a martini glass with water. Dip rim into sugar.
  • Strain martini into the glass and serve.

  • 1.5 oz Beefeater 24
  • .5 oz St. Germain
  • .5 oz Lemon
  • .5 oz Grapefruit
  • .5 oz Egg White
  • 2 shiso leaves
  • 2 dash house orange bitters
  • Touch of Squirt soda


  • Shake all of the ingredients together (except for the Squirt), then strain into a high ball glass.
  • Top it with Squirt, and garnish with a shiso leaf.

  • 1 oz Jagermeister
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz whiskey
  • 2 oz sweet and sour mix
  • 2 oz (or more) cola


  • Place all ingredients into a glass with a Death Star ice sphere in it
  • Stir to mix ingredients
  • Enjoy

  • 2 ounces sour apple schnaaps
  • 1 ounce Blue Curacao
  • 1 ounce sour mix


  • Pour all in a shaker and shake until frosty.
