Due to the recent rains and more forecast in our future, the Backyard Blowout has been moved to Love Civic Center.

The Backyard Blowout is a Paris, Texas, favorite bringing in big names in the Texas Country music industry for Northeast Texas to enjoy right here in their “backyard”.

Owner of Heritage Hall, JoKyle Varner, has been a big part of the music industry for more than a decade, now owning the historical venue that brings Texas Country favorites to Lamar County residents and surrounding areas. Each year, Varner adds more value to the Backyard Blowout through bigger names and attractions.

This year, the event will host Wade Bowen,  William Clark Green, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Cody Canada & The Departed, Jared Mitchell Band and the Kevin Jackson Band.  While the music promises to impress, there’s a pre-game party that you don’t want to miss.

The Backyard Blowout Cornhole Tournament is the first of it’s kind in Paris, Texas. The winner will take away $1,000 in cash and VIP tickets to the Blowout. In addition, the second place winners will take home a Yeti Cooler and third place gets their own cornhole set.  The two-person teams will cost $50 for entry and will get to play on custom cornhole boards sponsored by local businesses.

Love Civic Center is at 2025 S Collegiate Drive in Paris.
