A candlelight vigil is set for Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, to bring awareness to six missing from Hunt County.

The event will take place at the pavilion at the Greenville Sports Park from 7-8 p.m.

“We will have a special speaker and ceremony, then conclude the event with a candlelight vigil and prayer,” officials announced. “Candles and missing person fliers will be handed out at the event.”

The goal of this event is to bring a greater awareness to the missing six, recapture media attention on their cases, regenerate hope and support the missing families, and to honor and remember the missing of Hunt County.

The missing six include:

“We are asking the public for donations to assist us in the cost of printing missing person fliers for all six, candles, pavilion rental fee, photos and other miscellaneous items that will be needed for the event,” officials said.
