The 19th Annual Halloween on the Square is slated for Oct. 31, from 4 – 6 p.m. in downtown Greenville, Texas.
The City of Greenville, Hunt County, DrugFree Greenville and downtown merchants invite children of all ages and their families to the event.
Historic Downtown Greenville is closing off Lee, Stonewall, Washington, and Johnson Streets, bordering the Courthouse Square, and opening their doors for trick-or-treaters at the annual event that draws record crowds each year.
Come dressed as your favorite character and join the fun.
Live music will be performed by The Blandelles – performing Rock & Roll the way you remember it, along with gathering goodies and treats during the trick-or-treating event, participants can enjoy a haunted trailer, games, cotton candy, bottled water, airbrush tattoos, an inflatable and more.
Hot dogs will be available with proceeds benefiting Hunt County Fuller Center for Housing.
“Halloween on the Square is a great event for the entire family to enjoy. Children can trick-or-treat in a safe environment and have fun showing off their costumes,” said Doyle Dick, Main Street Manager. “The event continues to grow each year, and we invite area churches, civic groups, clubs and local businesses to take part in setting up a booth or game.”
Admission is free and parking can be found easily throughout the downtown area.
