Witnesses set to be sworn in for capital murder trial

Witnesses are set to be sworn in for a capital murder trial in Hunt County this week.

Judge Andrew Bench will begin swearing in witnesses today, according to court dockets, in the 196th District Court for the trial of Kaylon Laray Sephus.

Sephus has been indicted on a capital murder charge of a three-year-old girl, Aliah Christine Walker, from December 2014.

He has pleaded not guilty and is being held in lieu of $1 million bond.
