Commerce police are investigating after a man was taken to Hunt Regional with gunshot wounds.
Around 5 p.m., Commerce police and EMS were called to Washington and Maple for reports of a gunshot victim.
Commerce Police Chief Jason Rector told the Commerce Journal that, although no weapons or suspects have been found, shell casings were found near the 2200 block of Washington Street.
Rector said the man suffered from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
