A man wanted for the murder of an Arlington bar employee was arrested at a house in Quinlan on Wednesday.
An arrest team consisting of Hunt County Sheriff’s Deputies, Arlington Police Officers, and US Marshals took 25-year-old Simon Flores Acevedo into custody without incident.
Acevedo has been indicted by a Tarrant County Grand Jury on a murder charge after the April 14 murder of 41-year-old Jose Roberto Torres Roque at the Amigos Sports Bar in Arlington, Texas.
Acevedo is accused of shooting Rogue in retaliation for Rouge kicking him out of the bar the night before. Further allegations of personal history between Acevedo and Rouge, along with a woman both were romantically involved with, has been established by Arlington Detectives.
Acevedo was booked into the Hunt County Detention Center, pending transfer to Tarrant County.
