It’s almost that time again where we spring forward. The days get longer and we receive more sunlight.
Tonight at 2 a.m., most Americans will set their clocks forward an hour in exception to Arizona and Hawaii.
This “springing forward,” often gets accredited to Benjamin Franklin who thought energy could be saved if people could use sunlight instead of candles.
Even though many of us don’t use candles, this annual ritual still takes place. So, whether you’re in favor of daylight saving time or not, don’t forget to set your manual clocks ahead one hour tonight at 2 a.m. And don’t forget to check the batteries in your smoke alarm, as well.
You do not want to be the one walking in late for that important work meeting or sliding in late to church.
