Nicole Elise Kennedy-Pride, 34, of Greenville, passed on February 15, 2019 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Brittany Peters-Sims officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until service time.
Nicole was born on April 8, 1984 in Homestead, Florida to James Mark Kennedy and Jennine Anne Thetford. The light of Nicole’s life entered her world on October 6, 2004, her son, Lukas Kenton Pride. She graduated from Greenville High School in 2002 and the Cosmetology Career Institute in Greenville. She was proud of owner of Shear Pride Hair Salon.
She is survived by her son, Lukas Kenton Pride; mother, Jenny Kennedy and step-father, David Wichern; father, Mark Kennedy and step-mother, Nancy Kennedy; brother, Shane Kea; sisters, Jessica Lanore Harrell and Misti Kea Hoffmann; grandmothers, Shirley Kennedy and Henrietta Thetford; niece, Bella Grace Harrell; nephews, Cole Harrell, Ty Hoffmann and Landyn Kea; aunt, Evelyn Buchanan; uncle, William Thetford; cousins, Andrew Thetford and Shane Buchanan; many friends and beloved clients.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Kennedy; great-grandmother, Ethel Champion, and great-uncle, James Champion.
