After a pair of chilly days, temperatures will reach the 50s regionwide today.
A blanket of low clouds this morning will push off to the east, but wisps of high clouds will paint the skies throughout the day.
West winds will diminish this afternoon.
Despite cool temperatures in 50s, an upper disturbance will arrive on Thursday. Enough moisture and instability will be present southeast of a Paris-Dallas-Lampasas line for isolated-scattered showers and thunderstorms.
A few storms across these areas could reach strong levels with hail and frequent lightning.
