Downtown Greenville open for late night shopping on Thursday

Merchants and restaurants in Historic Downtown Greenville are bringing back a beloved tradition with Third Thursday. Many of the stores will stay open until 7 p.m. Dec. 20, with this being the inaugural event of this monthly tradition where visitors are encouraged to Shop, Dine, and Enjoy Downtown. Third Thursday’s evening hours give shoppers an opportunity to enjoy downtown after work, grab a bite to eat, and shop. Many of our downtown businesses will be offering specials along with old-fashioned personal customer service. Third Thursday gives families and friends the opportunity to shop downtown and enjoy beautifully decorated businesses. Shoppers may enjoy live music at the Uptown Forum as Harpist Jeff Walters, a Greenville native, will perform from 5 – 7 p.m. Downtown restaurants regularly open late include Ashen Rose, Corner Street Pub, Johnson Street Smokehouse, La Sabrosita, Landon Winery and the Texan Coffee Shop. Pizzo’s Sicilian Café will have extended hours this Thursday. Other Third Thursday participating businesses this week include All Tangled Up Salon, CC & Company Boutique, East Texas Print Shop, Greenville Events by Design, Greenville Floral Gifts & Boutique, Michael Campbell Salon, Hunt County Fuller Center for Housing Resale, Jessie’s Girl Boutique & Salon, Magic Bubble, Makerspace Greenville, Massage Matters, Metro by T-Mobile, Musical Mexicana, NineZeroThree Boutique, The Forbidden Gallery, The Force Boxing, The Muddle, The Wind The Willow Bookstore, Two Elizabeths Designs and Uptown Forum. See the businesses websites and Facebook pages for special offers and surprises.
