Hearings begin this week for the man accused of killing a mother and daughter in Hunt County nearly two years ago.
Tyron Jamaal Williams, 32, has pleaded not guilty. He was arrested for killing 27-year-old Nicole Elizabeth Gonzales, and her mother, 51-year-old Vickie Ann Gonzales in June 2016.
Records indicate the murders happened in the 7300 block of Highway 50 in Hunt County, where Williams reportedly killed both women with a filet knife. According to reports, Gonzales’ one-year-old child and infant were both in the home at the time of the murders.
After a 10-hour manhunt, Williams was found and booked into Hunt County Detention Center. His bonds were set at $1.18 million.
Williams is being represented by someone who specializes in death penalty cases. No trial date has yet been set.
